Deleting Your Account

Removing your Toco profile, wallet, and all related data takes less than a minute – but it’s permanent. Once you tap Delete and Log Out, your wallet, balances, rewards history, and KYC documents are erased from Toco’s systems and you are returned to the sign-in screen.

Before you start

  • Permanent action – deleted data cannot be restored, even by Toco Support.
  • Wallet funds & rewards – any tocos still in your wallet (including pending rewards) are destroyed with the wallet; send or sell them first if you want to keep their value.
  • KYC status & documents – identity-verification files are removed along with the account, so a fresh KYC check is required if you re-join later.
  • Security note – Toco never stores your 12 secret words; deleting the wallet simply makes them unusable.

Step-by-step: delete in the app

  1. Open the menu (☰) – Tap the three horizontal lines (often called the “hamburger icon”) in the top-right corner of the Home screen to open Settings.
  2. In Settings › Manage Data, tap Delete Account Data.
  3. Read the warning, tick I understand and want to delete account data.
  4. Tap Delete and Log Out. The app signs you out and returns to the Welcome screen.

What happens next

  • Automatic logout – you are returned to the Get Started / Sign In screen immediately.
  • Data purge – profile details, wallet keys, balance history, rewards records, and KYC documents are scrubbed from Toco’s servers.
  • No recovery path – trying to log back in with the old email starts a brand-new account flow. Pending rewards or tier progress are lost.
