Creating your Account

Getting started with Toco is simple and takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to create your account and begin your journey.


Step 1: Download the App

Download the Toco app from:

  • iOS: Available on the App Store
  • Android: Available on Google Play Store


Step 2: Sign Up

  1. Open the Toco app
  2. Tap "Sign Up" or "Get Started"
  3. Enter the name of your wallet
  4. Complete the basic profile information:
    • Full name (as it appears on your ID)
    • Date of Birth
    • Email address
    • Contact number
  1. Enter the “code” that was sent to your nominated email address
  2. Create a secure pin
  3. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  4. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox


Step 3: Basic Account Verification

  1. Add your unique referral link (if applicable). Note that if you were referred and you are not asked for a referral link, this means the system has automatically detected the referee.
  2. Select the country you live in (i.e. your country of residence)
  3. Confirm the following:
  • Whether you are a U.S. tax resident?
  • Whether you have an IBAN number?

Note that we don’t currently support US tax residents and we also can’t onboard people who don’t have an IBAN as we require our users to have one for us to pay fiat currency to them when they sell tocos.


Step 4: Initial Wallet Setup

Your Toco wallet will be automatically created when you complete registration. This wallet will:

  • Store your tocos securely
  • Track your engagement and rewards
  • Enable you to send and receive tocos


What Happens Next?

After creating your account, you'll need to:

  1. Secure your wallet with additional security measures
  2. Make your first toco purchase to begin earning rewards
  3. Complete KYC verification (required for full functionality, but you can still use it normally below certain thresholds)
